107% rule SUCK!

1. Why must FIA bring back a rule which would only serve to make life even harder for the sport’s most vulnerable teams?

2. The 107% rule, which prevented any driver who failed to qualify within 107% of the pole sitter’s time from starting the race, was dropped at the end of 2002

3. The 107% rule is a bad rule. It harms the sport and it harms small teams like Hispania for whom every minute of track running and every second of television exposure they can get is precious.

4. Throwing them out of a race weekend when they’ve already gone to the huge expense of flying to Australia or Malaysia only makes it even harder for them to compete in the future.

5. If the FIA really wants to stop cars that are too slow from competing then it should be done without forcing the teams to fly their cars halfway around the world first. They could hold a pre-season qualification test to make sure all the cars can lap within a certain time of each other

6. A snobbish attitude to new teams which aren’t on the pace yet does F1 no favors.

7. An important part of racing is having to share a track with other cars and finding ways to get around them. It’s an area where F1 is hardly excelling at the moment.

Raikan Insan

Kenapa orang muda sekarang malas nak pergi sembahyang jemaah dekat masjid atau surau?

Jawapan standardnya - LAMA!

Imamnya tidaklah baca Al Waqiah maupun Yaasin-cuma baca 2 ayat terakhir Al Baqarah ja kots-tapi subhanallah-1 harkat dia cam dah 2 3 harkat orang biasa. Cubalah bayangkan kalu kena Mad Wajib Muttashil; jika huruf mad (و ي ا) bertemu dengan huruf hamzah dalam satu kata maka wajib dibaca 2,5 alif atau 5 harakat::mau meraban kat situ.

Romeo? Makan Manusia?! WHOA!

Logo ini melambangkan Zodiak pemilik [Kobau = Taurus] Ferrucio Lamborghini. Dia juga pecinta pertunjukkan matador. Ngaauummm!!

itz January itz New Resolutionz[read:rules]!!

With moveable rear wings, a new tyre supplier, the return of KERS, a 107 percent qualifying rule and more, there are plenty of regulation changes that will have a major impact on the Formula One field in 2011…
Adjustable rear wings
Under new moveable bodywork regulations, drivers of suitably equipped cars can adjust the rear wing from the cockpit, altering its angle of incidence through a set range. (The moveable front wing, used in 2010, has been dropped.) The system’s availability is electronically governed - it can be used at any time in practice and qualifying, but during the race can only be activated when a driver is less than one second behind another car at pre-determined points on the track. The system is then deactivated once the driver brakes. In combination with KERS, it is designed to boost overtaking. Also like KERS, it isn’t compulsory.

No F-ducts or double diffusers
Any system, device or procedure which uses driver movement as a means of altering the aerodynamic characteristics of the car is prohibited from 2011 - that means no F-ducts. Tightening of the regulations on stepped floors means double diffusers in their original sense are also banned.

KERS
A badge of honour for some, a bugbear for others on its debut in 2009, KERS - or Kinetic Energy Recovery Systems - have been reintroduced in 2011 after the teams mutually agreed to suspend their use in 2010. KERS take the waste energy generated under braking and turns it into additional power. This is then made available to the driver in fixed quantities per lap via a steering wheel-mounted ‘boost button’.

The systems are essentially the same as those seen in ’09, with no increase in the maximum permitted power (though that could change in subsequent seasons). The challenge for the engineers this time round is packaging. Last time KERS was run, refuelling was legal. Now, with it banned, fuel tanks are larger and finding room to accommodate battery packs etc is not as easy. Hence don’t be surprised if bodywork has grown in places, relative to 2010. On the plus side, minimum car weight has been upped by 20kg to 640kg, meaning larger drivers don’t pay the weight-distribution penalty they once did in a KERS-equipped car.

Happy New Year

“Another fresh new year is here . . .
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!

This bright new year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .
To daily grow and try to be
My highest and my best!

I have the opportunity
Once more to right some wrongs,
To pray for peace, to plant a tree,
And sing more joyful songs!”
Be always at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let each new year find you a better man. Happy New Year!

Money Matters

Its a very long time already I not talk about economy business thingy, especially Malaysia's. Actually I'm enjoy following currency market. I always take a walk through Jalan Masjid India, then go to Brickfield especially KL Sentral, take monorel to Bukit Bintang, after that Giant and Tesco or Carefour just want to know the exchange rate they offer. And supprisingly, KL Sentral offers better price than others.

Nowadays Malaysians, including Malaysian monetary authorities seem quite happy over the appreciation of the Ringgit against the US Dollar. It is now stronger against the US Dollar by approximately 20 per cent.

But what does this mean to the people? It should result in imports becoming cheaper if not by 20 per cent at least by some percentage below that. But I don't think Malaysian imports paid for in US Dollars is noticeably cheaper in Ringgit. I don't think you could buy Bvrgari 20 per cent less cheaper than before. Why is this so?

We think that when our currency strengthens it must be because our economy is strong, Therefore we are doing well. But are we doing well?

Is it the Ringgit which is appreciating or is it the US Dollar which is devaluing? Actually for me it is the US Dollar which is devaluing. It is devaluing against most other currencies, especially against China's currency. Why is the dollar devaluing? Could it be due to the currency traders selling dollars? Could it be because the balance of payment is not in US favor?

Martin Wolf of the Financial Times, an expert on money have this to say. There is a global currency battle going on. "To put it crudely," he says, "the US wants to inflate the rest of the world, while the latter is trying to deflate the US. The US must win, since it has infinite ammunition; there is no limit to the dollars the Federal Reserve can create. What needs to be discussed is the terms of the world's surrender; the needed changes in nominal exchange rates and domestic policies around the world.

Our reserves are represented by the US Dollar, gold and other currencies which we keep in order to back the value of our Ringgit, The US clearly does not have to hold foreign currencies to back the Dollar. All the US has to is just to create [print] the money.

When we buy US Dollar bonds, we are in fact lending US Dollars to the US. When we redeem the bonds all the US has to do is to print more dollars to pay us. We are actually exchanging hard-earned money for pieces of paper which some people call toilet paper. How nice it would be if we can pay all our debts by just printing money aah..

There is something fishy going on and the fishy smell is very strong in the US. "Poor" China with 2.5 trillion devalued dollars in its reserve. Wonder how much Bank Negara has? I'll try to find it later because I've read somewhere Zetty Aziz had gave press statement about Bank Negara's reserved before.

In the face of Governments devaluing their currencies in a currency war, what should Malaysia do? Keep the float or control? When we controlled our currency in 1998 we were called pariahs whose knowledge about finance could be written on the back of a postage stamp. Now it seems many nations are using their magnifying glasses to read what is written on the back of the postage stamps...
SRi:Better we float Malaysian Ringgit before it comes too late

EMAS-City Car@2013

Its been a very long time since KLIMS--I didn't mention anything about world's automobile. Lucky me yesterday, Dany Bahar has revealed that the Lotus City Car concept has been confirmed and will be launched as a production car in October 2013. He also mentioned that the car would be a project together with Proton and another car manufacturer, which leads us to believe that Proton and Lotus have found a suitable third party to share in the development costs of the vehicle, or at least provide a platform.
According to Bahar, there will be three cars spawned from the project – one for the Asian market -- this should be Proton’s, one for the European market [the third party?] and a sportier version --this is the Lotus for sure. So who might this third party be? There has not been any official word yet but according to Autocar India back in November this year, the Nissan V platform might be used to underpin the EMAS range of cars.

Just wait and see what is the Proton's next step?!

EH! First Lady

Wanita Pertama Syria, Asma Al Assad jelita, langsing dan uhhh speechless. Menikmati keindahan Louvre Museum seraya mengenakan chain necklace dan berkaca mata hitam. Siapa percaya beliau ibu kepada dua orang anak? Anggun.

Dagunya ditutup mematuhi syariat. Cadur lambang busana wanita ingin ke syurga, two thumbs up!
